Daily 14-hour load shedding from Monday

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has published a new schedule of load shedding, according to which the current daily 12-hour power cut would be extended to 14 hours effective from Monday.

An additional two hours of power outage daily had to be implemented due to decreasing water level in the rivers, the NEA said. The stretching hours of load shedding have severely affected daily life and have made operation of industries increasing difficult in the country.
